This English grammar book series is compiled with the conviction that grammatical rules and regulations have to be learnt in a systematic way.  Learning in a systematic way makes learning so much easier and faster.   

Children as small as 5 years old can learn the English alphabet A – Z or numbers 1 –100 well just because the arrangement of the English alphabet and numbers are arranged in a fixed pattern. 

Similarly, with the rules and regulations of English grammar arranged in a fixed patterns to learn, it is so much easier to remember.  It is to remember the rules and regulations based on the theory of thought association / classification and conscious learning / active learning.  Active learning is to learn with good understanding and remember the rules and regulations naturally.

        Instead of learning each grammatical item in a separate way, this grammar book series gives the integration of grammatical items in a logical and systematic way as well as the overview of how each item is related to one another. 

        In mathematics, there are formulae to learn, remember and apply.  In English grammar, there are rules and regulations to learn, remember and apply, too. 

        Knowing English rules and regulations is very important in order to communicate with one another.  It is just like following traffic laws in order to drive around without any trouble.  It is especially crucial in written communication or writing activities for students.

        To grasp the basic rules and regulations, it is necessary to engage in active and deliberate learning.  Only through conscious effort and careful observation, learning of the rules and regulation can take place more effectively. 

Though reading widely is another good way to become familiar with the English grammatical rules and regulations, it is based on spontaneity rather than confirmed knowledge on them.  You are prone to grammatical errors without knowing.  On the other hand, if you have the comprehensive and holistic knowledge of the English grammatical rules and regulations,  you can check and edit your own work.
